SCIENCE DEPARTMENT VISION

The Science Department will enable pupils to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to understand the role that science plays in society and become lifelong learners in an ever changing world.

KS3 CURRICULUM

Our Key Stage 3 Science curriculum is exciting, dynamic and robust. It prepares our students for the rigours of Key Stage 4 and 5.

Students cover the three disciplines of science: Biology, Chemistry and Physics and are immersed into a world of science enquiry, discovery and life long learning.

The curriculum is very much skills based. We up-skill our pupils in working together, problem solving , managing information, being creative and foster a love for science.

Our students have the knowledge, skills and confidence to compete in an ever-changing society and are introduced to a range of exciting careers which require a background in science.

Helping our students to achieve at Key Stage 3

The Science Department has 3 separate google classrooms with additional revision resources. Resources will be added throughout the academic year.

Please note that these classrooms do not include assignments. The classrooms are not monitored.

If students have questions related to the science content they should contact their science teacher or Parents and Carers can ring the College and ask to speak to a member of the Science team.

TO ACCESS THESE GOOGLE CLASSROOMS,PLEASE CONTACT MRS GRAHAM , AND THE CODES WILL BE GIVEN. THE CODES CANNOT BE SHARED VIA THE COLLEGE’S WEBSITE.
