KS3 CURRICULUM
At KS3 the Technology & Design Department uses a project based approach to learning and teaching in our subject area. The projects are a very enjoyable pathway to learning about all things Technology & Design, with all pupils taking home their finished products including Twisty keyrings, USB Lamps, Bird Feeders, Adjustable Easel and many more!
Our department is fully equipped with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Sketchup, 2D Design and Onshape; which are utilised to control our CAM equipment that includes Laser Cutters, 3D Printers and CNC Milling Machines.

We currently offer 5 pathways at KS4 which include:
Technology & Design (AQA GCSE)
Engineering (Pearson BTEC Level 2)
Construction & the Built Environment (CCEA GCSE)
