The Board of Governors of St Ronan’s College are pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Eithne Erskine as Acting Principal.
Mrs Erskine has played a central role in the leadership and development of the College over a number of years, most recently serving as Vice Principal for Operations. She has been working in Lurgan for over 20 years, beginning her career in St Paul’s Junior High School in 2005, which later amalgamated with St Mary’s Junior High School and St Michael’s Grammar School in 2015 to become St Ronan’s College. She has been a member of the Senior Leadership Team since the College’s formation, bringing a deep understanding of the school and its community.
“I am very privileged to take on the role of Acting Principal of St Ronan’s College, building on the strong foundations established through Mrs Fiona Kane’s dedicated and visionary leadership.
At the heart of my vision for the College is a commitment to ensuring every young person receives an excellent education, where equity and inclusion make excellence possible for all.
As a large, non-selective Catholic voluntary grammar school, our values Belong, Believe, Become are at the heart of everything we do. They must not simply be stated, but lived daily through our culture, systems and leadership. Having worked in Lurgan for over 20 years, I am incredibly proud to serve this community and to lead a school that plays such an important role in the lives of our young people.
